Linotype Tiger™

Designed by KOMA AMOK

The origins of our font Tiger lead back to the days when we did some formal experiments in a chemistry drawing program. Creating glyphs created with a single cuneiform basic shape lead to characters reminding of pseudo-asian brushstroke letters and an urban graffiti look, respectively. Archaic forms meet Cyberpunk
with a touch of far east Asia, let’s say. Others simply call Tiger “vibrantly expressive”.

The five styles of Tiger consist of outline, inline and fill fonts that can be creatively mixed and layered, a kit for the colorful use of type. Of course they are also impressive in pure black and white.

Styles
Tame, Brave One, Brave Two, In Wait One, In Wait Two
